Shilpa Shetty was born on 2 November 1975 to Raj and Uma Shetty in Mumbai, India. 

Shilpa Shetty is known for her professional work in the Hindi film industry which includes the Kannada cinema and Telugu cinema industries. Some of her well-known films are Hungama 2 (2021), Baazigar (1993), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994) and Jaanwar (1999).

She started her career in modelling at the age of 16 when she became the first Indian woman to appear on a Coca-Cola advertisement.
