She came into limelight after she got a role in the 2009 Bollywood film Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. Her first international film was the Telugu-language action comedy Dookudu (2011). In 2016, she starred in her Hollywood debut, Jason Bourne.

In 2017, she starred as a voice of a character in the Hindi animated film Sing which is India's second highest-grossing animated film of all time and became her first release of 2018.
